About IT CloudLink

Enterprise background.
SMB focus.

IT CloudLink LLC was built on infrastructure work most MSPs don't touch. That background shapes how we approach every engagement -- regardless of size.

The Work

Built on infrastructure that couldn't fail.

Before IT CloudLink LLC, the work was enterprise -- Toyota North America datacenter consolidation, the TV Guide LA datacenter build, network infrastructure at UCLA Health, and MIS operations at Fox Sports. These aren't logos. They're environments where downtime has legal, financial, and in some cases clinical consequences.

That's the standard we apply to every engagement. A 20-person medical practice and a 5,000-person enterprise have different budgets and different complexity -- but the same expectation that the infrastructure works, the data is protected, and someone technically accountable is reachable when something goes wrong.

IT CloudLink LLC is a single-engineer practice by design. One engineer does all of the technical work, and that engineer is the person you talk to about it -- not a dispatcher routing your ticket to whoever's available that day.

Where engagements require specialized depth -- network security assessment, compliance scoping, or infrastructure architecture outside the core practice -- we draw on a network of vetted practitioners built over 15 years of enterprise work. The accountability stays with us. The capability scales when it needs to.

How We Work

Audit first. Propose second.

No proposals before audits

Every engagement starts by documenting what exists. We don't recommend solutions to problems we haven't confirmed are real.

Prioritize by actual exposure

Findings are ordered by impact -- regulatory risk, breach likelihood, operational consequence. Not by what's easiest to bill against.

Written documentation at every stage

Architecture decisions, remediation findings, compliance assessments -- all written and delivered to you. You own the documentation, not the relationship.

One engineer. Accountable.

Single-engineer practice by design. No dispatch queues, no rotating technicians. The person who designed your infrastructure is the person who answers when something breaks.

R&D Background

The AI practice is built on active lab infrastructure.

Private AI deployment for regulated industries isn't a service we assembled from vendor documentation. Every stack we deploy is built, benchmarked, and failure-tested first at Rondthaler Labs, the R&D practice behind IT CloudLink LLC -- on dedicated inference hardware, under the same constraints our clients face.

When we specify an on-premises AI appliance, the sizing comes from measurement: the VRAM headroom a 35B-class model needs, what throughput looks like under sustained load, and where the failure modes are. That's not vendor demo knowledge.

The R&D work lives at rondthaler.dev -- same practice, same engineer, public-facing lab documentation and thought leadership.

Work directly with the engineer.

Engagements start with a conversation about current state -- not a pitch about what we offer. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
